Dear Fellow Believers,
Parts of this website were actually on a church website at one time. I was told to take the material down, not because it was Biblically incorrect but because it was politically incorrect. I have therefore created this website because I believe we are not called to be politically correct but to proclaim the Truth. If we do not stand up for the Truth now, will we make a stand when much harsher consequences arise? Truth has never been popular. People do not desire to hear that they are living in sin and that they need to make changes in their lives. They would rather not be bothered with self denial, self discipline and self sacrifice. The world in which we live in is all about gratifying self. We were not created to live for ourselves but we were created to glorify and honor God.
Another reason this website was created was to assist me in my spiritual walk. Many of the articles and resources contained on this website has helped me in my spiritual walk. It causes me to keep alert and search for materials that will deepen my relationship with Jesus. I tend to forget a lot of things due to the amount of information digested daily. There are many more things I would like to share but time limits me.
Over the years, I have found that trying to tell someone about news or events that they have not read about or are not interested in, is very similar to trying to spread the Gospel. Unless someone is interested in or open to receiving the information, it can be very difficult to even get them to look at an article to investigate it for themselves especially if it goes against their values or beliefs. The excuse given is that they are “too busy.” Sadly, this is the same excuse given as to why people do not give more priority to seeking God’s Word and praying. That is why we must always pray that the Holy Spirit will prepare the way and open people’s hearts and to make them receptive to the Truth, for without Him, we can do nothing, but with Him we can do all things. Oh, how little we value eternal life with our Creator, we do not see what is at stake and what is of real value.
Most of the people I talk to, especially church members who should know, have no idea what is going on in the world or how current events will affect their futures. This website was done to inform the sleeping church that we must awake from our slumber and discern the times in which we live. It is done with an emphasis on current news events that point to the soon return of our Lord Jesus Christ. While there is some spiritual food on this site, further and deeper studies should be pursued from those sites listed on the Bible Studies and Links page. One major disadvantage of doing a website on spiritual subjects is that each person is at a different stage in their spiritual walk. I pray that the information presented on this website that people are not ready to accept, will not turn them off but cause them to seek further those things revealed to them, whether they be true or not. We are not to take blindly information we read or hear but to know why we believe what we believe. We must take the time to investigate for ourselves what we believe in and we should be able to explain to others why we believe them. Isn’t our eternal welfare worth it?
I am currently a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church but never grew up in the church. While growing up, I knew through reasoning that if God was real, He would have His church here on earth and that His blessings would be with this church. This is not to say that this is the only church that is blessed or that His believers are only in this church because the Bible clearly says that His believers are scattered. Also by reasoning, because of the vast differences in beliefs, there will be only one church that follows the Bible the closest. God’s church will be the one that follows the Bible more closely than any other church. I have investigated the beliefs of many churches through the years and that is the reason I am a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. I am not saying this church is perfect and it is not, but I want to be in a church that has the purest doctrines and follows the Bible the closest because I want to do what God says and because it is so easy to be led astray if we are not abiding in Him.
I believe that I am to present what I have learned through the years as I believe we are all called to do. God has not revealed to us His Word or Blessings for our own personal benefit alone. We are to share with others the reality of an all loving Creator who sacrificed His only Son to redeem us from our sins and to bless others as God has blessed us. God has blessed me tremendously through the years and I hope that you are blessed and your faith strengthened by what you read on this site. May we each be found faithful and obedient to Him and may we each endure to the end. Let us meet at the Tree of Life and worship our Redeemer for all eternity, for He is worthy! Amen
The redeemed saints, who have loved God and kept His commandments here, will enter in through the gates of the city, and have right to the tree of life. They will eat freely of it as our first parents did before their fall. The leaves of that immortal widespread tree will be for the healing of the nations. All their woes will then be gone. Sickness, sorrow, and death they will never again feel, for the leaves of the tree of life have healed them. Jesus will then see of the travail of His soul and be satisfied, when the redeemed, who have been subject to sorrow, toil, and afflictions, who have groaned beneath the curse, are gathered up around that tree of life to eat of its immortal fruit, that our first parents forfeited all right to, by breaking God's commands. There will be no danger of their ever losing right to the tree of life again, for he that tempted our first parents to sin will be destroyed by the second death.
Restored to the tree of life in the long-lost Eden, the redeemed will "grow up" to the full stature of the race in its primeval glory. The last lingering traces of the curse of sin will be removed, and Christ's faithful ones will appear in "the beauty of the Lord our God," in mind and soul and body reflecting the perfect image of their Lord. Oh, wonderful redemption! long talked of, long hoped for, contemplated with eager anticipation, but never fully understood. {Maranatha 325.3,6}
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart. Hebrews 12:1-3 NIV
